The Perfect Pets competition, run by Perth St Johns Rotary Club, closed on 21st November.
The winners will be announced at noon Friday 3rd December. Retired Perth vet David Ramsay, retired local SSPCA Inspector Brian Cowing and Kippen Campbell solicitor Sally McCartney will have the difficult task of judging the entries and finding our Perfect Pets.
We're very grateful to the entrants who made donations to support two leading charities - People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) and Send A Cow - which have worked tirelessly throughout the Covid crisis to ensure that animals continue to play their part in our health and well-being.
Photos and video clips were entered in a choice of eight classes. Rosette winners will be selected in each class and then an overall champion will secure the £200 prize. For more details see our FAQ and Rules pages.
We've all had them! Days when feathers, fur or hair just won't sit properly. Does the weather play havoc with your well-groomed pet or is your animal friend just a coiffure catastrophe?
Is there anything more cute than a baby animal? Have you welcomed a new pet into your family recently? Capture them on camera and let's see the beautiful baby.
Pets are often our best friends and can become inseparable from their human companions. Children and adults can share their photos of themselves with their best buddy.
Who's your favourite pet on the farm? Is there an orphaned lamb you've reared this year or a donkey or pygmy goat that always melts your heart. Or a chicken that thinks its a dog?
They say we can grow to look like our pets! Is there a similarity between you and your animal companion? Or do you sometimes sit the same way or do similar actions?
Everyone has photographed their pet as they snooze! Whether they're sleeping peacefully in their cosy bed or draped sleeping somewhere ridiculous, hilarious or downright dangerous!
Does your pet have star quality? Does it know it's superior to all other creatures or simply behave - and look - like a winner. We humans are so beneath them!
Do you share your home or grounds with a pet that's a little out of the ordinary? Something foreign, exotic or part wild? Perhaps you live abroad and have an unusual pet in the family?
